I'm beyond blessed to have gotten the chance to photograph one of my best friends and her 2 retired barrel horses Mooney and Boogie.
Wanda and I used to haul together every weekend to barrel races or rodeos and she always had these 2 boys along with. We made so many great memories and the amount of laughs we shared were endless.
Last winter was rough on these old fellas and we knew we needed some pictures of them before their time came. The morning we had scheduled this session it was 30mph winds, cold and a bit rainy. With limited time for my trip up in Scobey we prayed the next morning would be a Classic North Eastern Montana sunrise....and it sure was!
